So you’re looking for a 11×17 or tabloid copier? Doing a bit a research before you buy is a wise move. Typically a moving up to a tabloid copier costs about three thousand dollars more than a letter/legal copier.
Surprisingly, some offices go ahead and purchase a tabloid copier when they don’t come out ahead for doing so. So how do you decide? What we have found through our years in the business is that people will come out ahead at the ten percent mark. If more than ten percent of your copies are being printed on tabloid sheets then you will be wise to put the extra money into it. If you’re below ten percent then you need to weigh out if the convenience is worth the cost.
