Some Basic Copier Repair Tips
What are some things you can do, that any user could do to try and save a few bucks on a copier service call in Kansas City? One of the most common copier problems are paper jams. If you are currently experiencing a paper jam with your Kansas City copier, here are a few things you can try before calling in a technician to help you out!
- Make sure all paper from jam is removed from machine. If you pull out a piece of paper, make sure all of it is out and there are not any remaining little pieces left.
- Always pull out paper in the direction the paper was heading when the jam occurred.
- If this has been a consistent problem, try using some rubbing alcohol and clean the rollers. If this causes the problem to go away, order some new rollers to put in the matching when the rubbing alcohol trick stops working.
- Check drivers to make sure you have proper paper settings when the jam occurs in the copier.
